When competitive runner Heath White and his wife received the news that their daughter would be born with Down Syndrome, Heath wanted an abortion. But after baby Paisley was born in 2007, he knew he’d never be the same again.
Cities of Spain: Seville, Cadiz, Barcelona and Granada! (at just call me artsy)
We have almost been in Spain for a week but I have been a little bit too busy and overwhelmed to blog! We arrived in Madrid last Thursday and immediately began touring the city. I didn’t take very many pictures because it was a little chilly and rainy but we had a great time. On Friday we went to the Prado and the museo de la reina Sofia to see a lot of famous art by Goya, Velásquez, Picasso and many others. We arrived in cádiz on Saturday after a 9 hour bus ride from Madrid. We’ve been getting used to our tiny room in our “madre’s apartment..she likes to leave out cereal for us in the morning (leche entera is whole milk so today I learned how to ask for skim milk so hopefully we get that soon). Usually Campbell and I sit side by side at our little table during meals and today our madre made us a picnic lunch for the beach. Cádiz is a beautiful town with narrow cobblestone streets and friendly locals - the perfect place to study abroad! Almost no one speaks English so it forces us to speak Spanish as much as possible. We just started class today and we visit Seville and cordóba this weekend ! More updates to come!
Packing for 6 weeks in Spain! So far not so good..can I fit my whole closet in that little suitcase?
